Christian, Tommy, and Zander founded Grip Aid, a non-slip adhesive grip tape, as part of our Business Incubator program at Prairie Ridge High School. In October of 2022, we discovered that we three and our peers had the problem of gripping workout equipment. With several surveys and interviews​ with avid weight lifters, we discovered that Grip Aid was gaining traction and people were wanting to use Grip Aid while weight lifting. With these results, Grip Aid teamed up with Jessup Manufacturing Company, which specializes in adhesive grip tapes, to produce our vision. After going through many different samples we discovered the materials to make Grip Aid better than the competition. We chose three different types of tape, which are listed as such: EcoGrip, GainGrip, and SportsGrip.

EcoGrip is an environment-friendly option, made up of 100% recycled Nike gym shoes, and is one of the two options we have for everyday workout equipment.

GainGrip gets its name from the sole purpose of getting gains in the gym. GainGrip is our second option for workout equipment and is right in the middle of being not too smooth and not too rough, but just that perfect feeling to be able to grip with no slip.

SportsGrip is the grip of champions, used on hockey sticks, lacrosse sticks, baseball bats, etc. and gives you the grip to be your best.
